The Foundry is a $75 million revitalization project initiated by the City of Loveland’s Economic Development Department. When complete, this project will transform 3 1/2 city blocks of run down houses, apartments, and closed business into a modern living and entertainment center that will include a hotel right in heart of the Loveland Historical District.  DMG was engaged by the city as their consultant and owner’s representative to assist them through the entire planning and execution phases of the remediation/demolition process.

This is one of DMG’s select projects because it illustrates the effectiveness of our co-venture approach when working with public entities.  Working in tandem with city staff and department heads, we successfully integrated the value-added components of DMG’s quality management process into the city’s established processes.  The results were impressive:   we reduced original expected costs from $2.4 million to $1.2 million, aided in attaining an impressive 27% dump diversion of construction debris, and delivered the project within both schedule and budget.

​In addition, DMG worked closely with the Loveland Downtown Partnership and other community leaders in organizing multiple community salvages, police and fire department training exercises, and community meetings. 

​

​The project is currently under construction by the Brinkman group, scheduled to be finished in 2018.
